Hello!
Have you ever tried to make an LJS-related layout or graphic, but been unable to find high-quality images to use? That's where we come in!The aim of the LJS Cover Resource is to provide you with high-quality scans of LJS book covers from around the world. These images are then free to use in whatever way you want, whether it be a layout, a desktop, an icon or something completely different. If you use any of the scans contained on the site, we would appreciate a link back somewhere so that other people can find us.
We're always looking for better quality scans than the ones we have, which is where you come in. If you have a scanner and some LJS covers, then we need your help. If you have a cover that isn't featured here, or if you can provide a higher quality scan of a cover this is featured here, we want your help! Please take a look at the contribute section.

Quite a few bits and pieces today. First up, we have an ad for the original TVD trilogy which was published in several American teen magazines in 1991. If you haven't seen it, you should give it a look because it's crazy. The art is extremely questionable and the text refers to Stefan as the most popular boy in school... Yeah, it's that awesome! Thanks to Vampire-Diaries.net and Elek Pendragon for passing this along. There's also an ad from Portugal (at least I think it's supposed to be an ad) for the first TVD book and the recently launched website for the Portugese editions of the books (Crónicas Vampíricas) which features quite a nice image of Stefan, even if it has shamelessly ripped off recent NA covers.Speaking of Portugal, you may have gathered that they've started to publish TVD there! So far the first book is out, with the second coming in July. So, of course, you can find a scan of the cover on the relevant page
Elsewhere, I've uploaded bigger scans of the 2007 UK & Ireland reprints of TVD, as well as bigger scans of the third and fourth Italian versions of the TVD books and of the Polish version of the first TVD:TR book. The lovely Incanto has also sent me a bigger version of the 2003 Russian edition of the fifth NW book. Finally, I've uploaded a new scan of the recent UK & Ireland NW 3-in-1.
Last but not least, I've added a calendar of the upcoming publishing dates of LJS' books around the world to the sidebar. Because I'm starting to lose track, damnit
