Hello!
Have you ever tried to make an LJS-related layout or graphic, but been unable to find high-quality images to use? That's where we come in!The aim of the LJS Cover Resource is to provide you with high-quality scans of LJS book covers from around the world. These images are then free to use in whatever way you want, whether it be a layout, a desktop, an icon or something completely different. If you use any of the scans contained on the site, we would appreciate a link back somewhere so that other people can find us.
We're always looking for better quality scans than the ones we have, which is where you come in. If you have a scanner and some LJS covers, then we need your help. If you have a cover that isn't featured here, or if you can provide a higher quality scan of a cover this is featured here, we want your help! Please take a look at the contribute section.

Lots of updates today and my piece of paper listing them all has become a tad confusing, so let's go by series, shall we?First up, The Vampire Diaries. With the TV programme on its way, TVD continues to steamroll everything in it's path. This update brings 2 new UK & Ireland covers, 1 new French cover and a better scan of another French cover (thanks to Poppy for sending me the book in question!), 4 new German covers (which are pretty good actually, even if we can't quite figure out who everyone is or why Damon has such emo hair), 1 new Brazilian cover (this is also a new addition to the country list!), 2 new North American covers (TV-themed), 1 new Portugese cover and a better scan of the first Portugese cover (thanks to my parents for bringing these back from their recent holiday
). There are also textless versions of the Portugese covers in the relevant section.Excitingly, we've got some action from The Secret Circle with two new UK covers (which are variations on the recent North American ones) and three covers from Italy which is just about to publish the trilogy! These covers are completely not relevant to the plot but I like them anyway
For Dark Visions, I've added a better image of the upcoming North American collected edition.
The Night World books hold the distinction of having covers for 2 previously unpublished books - yay
We finally have a cover for 'Strange Fate' (though I'm still not holding my breath) and, much more interestingly, Annette Pallert has penned The Ultimate Night World Fan Guide which looks vaguely interesting. The books are also in the process of being (re)published in Germany and Italy and each of those countries has 3 new covers, as well as an unused (terrifying) one in Italy's case. I've also corrected the name of the artist for the recent bind-up editions.Last but not least we have The Vampire Diaries: The Return. As well as the cover for the 'Shadow Souls', the next book in the series, it turns out that both Poland and Italy actually split 'Nightfall' into two books. Which means there are new covers from both countries.
I think that's everything, but there was so much this time around that I might have left something out. Oh well! Here's hoping you enjoy the updates anyway
